Soccer Recap: Winter Haven Christian Comes Up Short on the Road Against Families Instructing Students Homeschool

Winter Haven Christian had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Families Instructing Students HomeSchool Hawks by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

They hit Families Instructing Students HomeSchool with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Toby Bonilla, Mason Toole, and Joshua Guevara.

The win (which was Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Winter Haven Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Geneva Classical Academy on the 11th. As for Families Instructing Students HomeSchool, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Polk Christian Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
