Basketball Recap: Burlingame Gets the Win

Burlingame won the last time they faced Woodside, and Pilot Eis did his part to make sure it happened again. The Burlingame Panthers strolled past the Woodside Wildcats with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 48-31 thanks in part to Eis, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 15 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Jean-Luc Uharriet, who posted five points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. He also posted a block, marking his first of the season.

Burlingame's record now sits at 9-12. As for Woodside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Burlingame Panthers challenge the Half Moon Bay Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Woodside, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 49-47 loss against Sequoia on the 1st.
