Northbridge had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 41-14 win over the Seekonk Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won seven matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.

Leading Northbridge to victory were Joel Lachapelle and Morodney Daigle. Lachapelle rushed for 91 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries, while Daigle gained 165 total yards. What's more, Lachapelle posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September.

Despite the loss, Seekonk still got an impressive performance from Nico Bonafiglia, who rushed for 143 yards and two scores on only 14 carries.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Northbridge, bringing their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.7 points on average over those games. As for Seekonk, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Northbridge and Seekonk are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Rams will be playing at home against Millbury at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Lachapelle and Matteus Mateo. As for Seekonk, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dighton-Rehoboth Regional at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. The Warriors will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.56 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
