Boone won the last time they faced Saydel and things went their way on Thursday too. The Toreadors blew past the Eagles 11-2. Considering the Toreadors have won three games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Boone and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Saydel, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Boone has already played their next matchup, a 6-4 victory against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on the 7th. As for Saydel, they will challenge Roland-Story at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Norsemen's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
