West Jefferson won the last time they faced Emmanuel Christian Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Roughriders came out on top against the Lions by a score of 3-1.

Julia Beatty paced West Jefferson's offense, picking up 20 kills. Beatty were helped by Mary Ava Wills and Maddie Carruthers, who contributed 15 assists each. Josaphine Stryker controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

West Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Emmanuel Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
