Soccer Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Olympus Titans. One reason for the loss might be Highland's aggressive play style: three Highland players were handed yellow cards.

Nahom Gala and Kessler Vargyas scored both of Highland's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Olympus, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-8 record.

Highland didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-2 loss against Brighton on the 22nd. As for Olympus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against East on the 22nd.
