Tabernacle Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 61-40 to the Victory Christian Academy Patriots. On the bright side, the 40- point performance marked the Rams' highest-scoring contest to date.

Simiya Smith was her usual excellent self, putting up 39 points along with five assists and four steals for Victory Christian Academy. The matchup was Smith's 18th in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Aalaysia Friday, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Tabernacle Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Victory Christian Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2.
