Marquette entered their tilt with Indian Creek on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Timberwolves. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Timberwolves, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Marquette was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-9.

Marquette was led to victory by Kinley Rick and Hailey Abbott. Rick had five kills and two aces, while Abbott had ten digs and three aces. Rick has been hot recently, having posted five or more kills the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelsey Cuchra, who had seven kills and two assists.

Marquette now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Indian Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.

Coming up, Marquette will head out to challenge Putnam County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Crusaders are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Indian Creek, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Somonauk on the 16th.
