Preview: Fallbrook vs. Valley Center
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Valley Center. They hope to keep the momentum going despite having enjoyed some extra time before their next contest against Fallbrook at 7:00 PM on Friday. Valley Center will be strutting in after a victory while Fallbrook will be stumbling in from a loss.
Valley Center put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season two weeks ago. They blew past Rancho Buena Vista 31-0. The Valley Center offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the matchup anyway.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 13-52, which was the final score in Fallbrook's tilt against Serra last Friday. Fallbrook were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-38.
Valley Center took the match and then some with a 48-0 win the last time the two teams met over Fallbrook. Will Valley Center repeat their success, or does Fallbrook have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
