Volleyball Recap: Fort Lupton Bluedevils vs. Stargate School Eagles
Fort Lupton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Stargate School Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.
Fort Lupton took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-18.
Jaiden Ogg paced Fort Lupton's offense, picking up six kills. Ogg got some help from Aaron Encinia and his ten assists. Ogg also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Roman Balcazar, racking up two apiece.
Adrian Barda was a one-man wrecking crew For Stargate School. as he had ten digs, eight kills, and three aces. That's the most digs Barda has posted since back in March.
