Baseball Recap: Pleasant Grove Eagles vs. Placer Hillmen
Pleasant Grove won the last time they faced Placer and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pleasant Grove Eagles came out on top against the Placer Hillmen by a score of 8-5.
Maddox Ali looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits.
On the hitting side, Gabe Wolfgram was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Noah Newby, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
