Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Island Coast walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Lemon Bay Manta Rays 7-6 on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Gators as they're now sitting on six straight.

Bobby Wilenius looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Isaac Lopez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Grady Schwiezer was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Island Coast pushed their record up to 21-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Lemon Bay, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-9 record.

As of now, neither Island Coast nor the Manta Rays have any future games scheduled.
