Volleyball Recap: Whitewater Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Whitewater's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Union Grove Wolverines by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Wolverines back in August, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Whitewater had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-9, 27-25, 25-22.

Lailah Brown paced Whitewater's offense, picking up 25 kills. Brown got some help from Matilde Kofoed and her 28 assists. Brown was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Whitewater's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6-1. As for Union Grove, their loss ended a ten-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 30-7-1.

As of now, neither Whitewater nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
