Grand Rapids came out on top against Hibbing on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Thunderhawks were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Bluejackets. For the Thunderhawks, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 victory the Bluejackets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Grand Rapids and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Hibbing, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 4-4.

Coming up, Grand Rapids will challenge Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hibbing, they will be playing at home against Denfeld at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hunters have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.67 runs per game on average), something the Bluejackets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
