Garfield won the last time they faced West Seattle and things went their way on Friday too. The Garfield Bulldogs came out on top against West Seattle by a score of 65-55. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while West Seattle are ranked 88th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Garfield's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for West Seattle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-15.

Garfield will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eastside Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on April 11th. West Seattle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
