Soccer Recap: Splendora Takes a Loss

Splendora lost against Kilgore back in January of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Splendora Wildcats fell just short of the Kilgore Bulldogs by a score of 1-0.

Splendora now has a losing record at 4-5-1. As for Kilgore, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Splendora will welcome Pasadena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Splendora's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Kilgore, they will head out on the road to challenge Sabine at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have allowed few goals on average, (Sabine: 0.4, Kilgore: 0.4) so any goals scored will be well earned.
