Basketball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union lost to Wayland back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Hawks lost to the Wildcats at home by a 46-29 margin. The game marked the Red Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Union has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Wayland, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Union has already played their next game, a 52-47 defeat against West Catholic on the 29th. As for Wayland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-42 loss against Northview on the 30th.
