Basketball Recap: West Davidson Takes a Loss

West Davidson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 52-42 to the East Davidson Golden Eagles. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

East Davidson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tegin Hedrick led the charge by putting up 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dayln Grady, who posted 18 points.

West Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for East Davidson, they moved to 2-11 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

West Davidson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 85-47 loss against Lexington on the 3rd. East Davidson has also already played their next game, a 75-31 defeat against Salisbury on the 3rd.
