Basketball Recap: Hanford West Comes Up Short

Hanford West lost against Exeter back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hanford West Huskies took a 54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Exeter Monarchs.

Aden Plyman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Exeter, almost dropping a double-double on 30 points and nine boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Plyman has scored at least a third of Exeter's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blaine Mcfall, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.

Hanford West's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-21. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Exeter, their win bumped their record up to 17-6.

Hanford West has already played their next match, a 79-55 loss against Kerman on the 6th. As for Exeter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-52 victory against Kings Christian on the 5th.
