Volleyball Recap: Excelsior Classical Academy Starts Season with Victory Against Ascend Leadership + How To Watch

Excelsior Classical Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Ascend Leadership Aviators as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Excelsior Classical Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17, 25-16.

Zhaniya Brown paced Excelsior Classical Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Brown got some help from Alejandra Orozco and her ten assists. Juniper Wells controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Excelsior Classical Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Eno River Academy on the 19th. As for Ascend Leadership, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Clover Garden School on the 19th.
