Summit Christian Academy skates past Lone Jack with ease

Recap: Summit Christian Academy Eagles vs. Lone Jack Mules

The Summit Christian Academy Eagles stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They really took it to Lone Jack for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-40 victory on the road. The win was just what Summit Christian Academy needed coming off of a 64-37 defeat in their prior game.

Summit Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kash Pritchard led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Max Rieger was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.

Lone Jack's loss came despite strong showings from Tyler Carpenter and Garrett Mantzey. Carpenter scored eight points along with six rebounds, while Mantzey scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Thatcher Kamolz, who scored three points along with five assists and three steals.

Summit Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Lone Jack, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9.

Summit Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge St. Michael the Archangel at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in St. Michael the Archangel's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Lone Jack, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasant Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lone Jack is facing Pleasant Hill at the right time seeing as Pleasant Hill is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
