It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Churchland can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Jamestown Eagles on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Truckers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2014.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-6, 25-7.
Leading Jamestown to victory were Peyton Tilley and Senah Drazdowski. Tilley had four aces and 11 assists, while Drazdowski had 19 assists.
Churchland's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Jamestown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-10-1.
Churchland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jamestown, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Smithfield on the 9th.
