Kanab waltzed into their matchup on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They secured a 60-54 W over the South Sevier Rams. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-38 back in December of 2024.

Cash Mortensen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 10 of 21 on his way to 25 points and seven rebounds. Kyle Brown was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Kanab has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game. As for South Sevier, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 14-4 record.

Kanab has already played their next game, a 62-59 loss against Panguitch on the 21st. As for South Sevier, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Water Canyon at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. South Sevier is facing Water Canyon at the right time seeing as Water Canyon is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
