Milton-Union is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Monday. They will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. Lehman Catholic took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Milton-Union, who comes in off a win.

Milton-Union is headed out to face Lehman Catholic after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Bulldogs blew past Newton Local 63-41 on Saturday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Milton-Union got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Michaela Firks out in front who went 6-for-12 en route to 18 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Those 18 points gave Firks a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Layman, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards.

Milton-Union smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 11 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Lehman Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 43-19 to Houston.

Everything came up roses for Milton-Union against Lehman Catholic in their previous matchup back in February, as the team secured a 53-25 victory. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cavaliers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
