Blaine's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Bellingham Bayhawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Borderites have posted since September 24th.

Blaine's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-9-1. As for Bellingham, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Blaine is set to square off against their familiar foe Mount Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bellingham will challenge rival Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
