Basketball Recap: Lenoir City Comes Up Short

Lenoir City lost against McMinn Central back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lenoir City Panthers took a 66-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McMinn Central Chargers.

Lenoir City's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for McMinn Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-15 record this season.

While Lenoir City had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
