After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Macomb, Quincy Notre Dame was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Quincy Blue Devils by a score of 9-6. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Blue Devils last Tuesday, they had to take a 10-0 defeat.

The team relied heavily on Kaden Marth, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Bradi Lahr was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Quincy Notre Dame was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Quincy only posted a batting average of .241.

Quincy Notre Dame's record is now 18-9. As for Quincy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-16.

Looking ahead, Quincy Notre Dame will face off against Routt Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Quincy, they will take on Timberland at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
