Baseball Recap: Paulding Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Paulding duked it out with Kalida on Monday. The Panthers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 8-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Paulding and nudges their season record down to 8-8. As for Kalida, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Coming up, Paulding will host Crestview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kalida does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
