Basketball Recap: Sheffield Takes a Loss

Sheffield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 53-37 bruising from the Colbert County Indians. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 35-27 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sheffield now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Colbert County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

Sheffield will challenge Rogers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sheffield is facing Rogers at the right time seeing as Rogers is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Colbert County has already played their next match (against Hatton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
