Basketball Recap: Concordia's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Concordia waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Marysville Bulldogs by a score of 63-54. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-45 back in December of 2024.

Concordia's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Marysville, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concordia will square off against Wamego at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Marysville, they will face off against Rock Creek on Friday. Rock Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Marysville likes a good challenge.
