Soccer Recap: Pueblo Centennial Takes a Loss

Pueblo Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Pueblo South Colts, falling 5-2. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Pueblo Centennial it sure didn't stay that way.

Esteban Godinez and Carlos Torres scored both of Pueblo Centennial's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Pueblo Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Pueblo South, their victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6-2.

Looking ahead, Pueblo Centennial is taking a road trip to challenge Pueblo East at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pueblo South, they will be playing at home against Mitchell at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
