There's no place like home for Hoonah, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 31-19 win over the Skagway Panthers on Saturday. That's the fifth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 48-46 win last Thursday.

Hoonah's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.6 points on average over those games. As for Skagway, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.
