Soccer Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Centennial was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the Franklin Admirals, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Centennial can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 71st, while Franklin are ranked second).

Centennial now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Franklin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-0-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Centennial is set to square off against their familiar foe Brentwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Franklin will challenge rival Nolensville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
