Volleyball Game Preview: Poudre Impalas vs. Niwot Cougars

The Poudre Impalas will head out to face off against the Niwot Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Poudre will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Poudre got the win against Greeley Central by a conclusive 3-0.

Poudre walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Niwot faced Cheyenne Mountain in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cougars came out on top against the Red-Tailed Hawks by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Niwot was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 17-25, 25-17.

Niwot's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Poudre, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.
