Baseball Recap: Enterprise's Run of Five Straight Wins Now Over

After a string of five wins, Enterprise's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Resurrection Catholic Eagles. The Yellowjackets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 8-3.

Enterprise got a good showing from Hayden Teaster, who tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Prewitt Falvey was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Enterprise: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Kelly Burgess, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Enterprise's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Resurrection Catholic, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-7 record.
