Softball Recap: Calvary Christian Warriors vs. Indian Rocks Christian Eagles

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Calvary Christian). They put the hurt on the Indian Rocks Christian Eagles with a sharp 16-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Katie Kapusta made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.
