Softball Recap: South Oak Cliff Comes Up Short

South Oak Cliff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-3 to the Molina Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 back in February.

South Oak Cliff saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Branya Braziel, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Braziel is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Mariah Hill was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

South Oak Cliff's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Molina, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

South Oak Cliff didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-1 defeat against White on the 28th. As for Molina, they have also already played their next game, a 10-4 victory against Hockaday on the 28th.
