Softball Recap: L.W. Higgins Takes a Loss

L.W. Higgins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Riverdale Rebels, falling 16-1. That's two games in a row now that the Hurricanes have lost by exactly 15 runs.

L.W. Higgins' defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Riverdale, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. L.W. Higgins will host West St. John at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. L.W. Higgins has given up an average of 18.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Riverdale, they will welcome Benjamin Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
