Soccer Game Preview: Meyer vs. Mexia

The Meyer Ravens will square off against the Mexia Black Cats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meyer's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Meyer fell victim to Lorena and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leopards.

Meanwhile, Mexia's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Marlin by a score of 3-1.

Meyer's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-4. As for Mexia, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7-1.
