The Maywood CES Wolfpack will head out on the road to take on the Torres Toros at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Maywood CES is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 15.2 runs per game this season.

Maywood CES came up short against Bell on Saturday, falling 19-9.

Maywood CES got a massive performance out of Emily Marin, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those doubles were Marin's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Emma Flores, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Torres got the win against Maywood Academy on Friday by a conclusive 26-16. The result was nothing new for the Toros, who have now won six matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Maywood CES' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Torres, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Maywood CES beat Torres 18-14 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolfpack since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
