Waynedale is 7-1 against Central Christian since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Waynedale Golden Bears will venture away from home to face off against the Central Christian Comets at 7:00 p.m. Waynedale has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight losses, while Central Christian will come in with four straight wins.

Last Friday, Waynedale came up short against Dalton and fell 53-42.

Meanwhile, Central Christian got the win against Chippewa on Saturday by a conclusive 71-49. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Central Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Waynedale, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.

Waynedale skirted past Central Christian 70-67 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Waynedale since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
