On North Fork's side, Payson Pene made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over six innings pitched. Pene was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
