Salt Lake Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Skyridge Falcons 2-1. This was payback for the Griffins, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Braylon Brock was the driving force of Salt Lake Academy's attack as he scored both of Salt Lake Academy's goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Skyridge fell to 4-1.

Salt Lake Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Herriman on the 14th. Skyridge has also already played their next match (against Mountain Crest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
