Basketball Game Preview: Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves vs. Chagrin Falls Tigers

The Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves and the Chagrin Falls Tigers will round out the year against one another at at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Cuyahoga Heights was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 35-29 to Independence.

Meanwhile, Chagrin Falls was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 56-52 to Crestwood. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cuyahoga Heights will have to contain Lilly Stukus as she made an impact in Chagrin Falls' last game. She posted 19 points and five boards. Stukus is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Abby Kay, who had six points and seven assists.

Chagrin Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Cuyahoga Heights, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Cuyahoga Heights was able to grind out a solid victory over Chagrin Falls in their previous meeting back in February, winning 40-32. Does Cuyahoga Heights have another victory up their sleeve, or will Chagrin Falls turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
