Football Recap: Tony'ah Boggs' Menacing Defense Leads Dunnellon over North Marion

If North Marion wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Dunnellon, they should've done a better job of containing Mia Burns. Dunnellon walked away with a 19-6 victory over North Marion on Monday thanks in part to Burns, who picked up 91 receiving yards and one TD. She was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 64 yards.

Dunnellon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Tony'Ah Boggs.

Dunnellon is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points on average over those games. North Marion is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
