Softball Recap: Ripley Wins Going Away Against Peabody

Ripley won the last time they faced Peabody and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers blew past the Golden Tide 14-2. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Ripley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Peabody, they dropped their record down to 9-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Ripley will face off against Gibson County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Peabody, they will challenge South Fulton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Tide are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
