Football Preview: Waxahachie Indians vs. DeSoto Eagles

Waxahachie is 0-6 against DeSoto since September of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Waxahachie Indians will host the DeSoto Eagles at 7:00 p.m.

Waxahachie is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Texas' top teams: Duncanville, who was ranked first in their home state at the time (Waxahachie was ranked 23rd). Waxahachie's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. As for DeSoto, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
