Preview: Cascade Cadets vs. Beech Grove Hornets
Cascade is 0-4 against Beech Grove since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Cascade Cadets will be playing at home against the Beech Grove Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Cascade came up short against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial and fell 47-39. Cascade has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Brady Trebley, who scored 12 points. Connor Sanders was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Beech Grove's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter on the road and fell 75-48. Beech Grove was down 52-29 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Cascade's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8. As for Beech Grove, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.
