A Season-Best Performance from Brayden Trimble Leads Mt. Zion over Normal University
Brayden Trimble produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Mt. Zion to the win on Saturday. Trimble rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also caught a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception.
Trimble and Mt. Zion are on the road again on Friday to play DePaul College Prep at 7:00 p.m. The contest will pit Trimble up against the Rams' star receiver Braden Peevy. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
