Volleyball Recap: Pearce Takes a Loss

Pearce lost against Allen back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Pearce started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 25-11.

Allen can attribute much of their success to Campbell Sheffield, who had 14 digs and two aces.

Pearce now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Allen, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Pearce didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Plano on the 23rd. As for Allen, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against McKinney North on the 23rd.
